Twelve Years Today
Added 2020-10-16 01:39:18 +0000 UTCSomebody (Steve Lieber?) started the tradition of leaving paper on the lunch table of Helioscope so members could make a note or a doodle to document when they stopped by the studio while it is mostly shut down during the pandemic. This is the doodle I left the last time Matt and I stopped by to pick up my mail.
Last night, around 10pm, we realized our wedding anniversary is tomorrow (today). We got married October 15, 2008. 12 years ago. “I haven’t gotten you ANYthing.” Matt told me in horror. “I haven’t gotten you anything either.” I told him, less horrified. He asked me if there’s anything he could give me as an anniversary present and I told him oh, yes, I’ve already got something in mind and then I draped myself over his lap so he could massage my butt until I fell asleep. He put back on a movie he had been watching but stopped when I came in because it’s not my jam (even though I told him I didn’t mind!!!) and we stayed like that for an hour or so, me pinning him to the couch with my dead asleep weight while he kneaded and rubbed my butt, finally getting to finish his fight-y movie.
