I think you will like this: The artwork of Ryan Riller Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ryanriller_

Whether he’s drawing with traditional media or digital or crafting a three-dimensional diorama, every illustration from Ryan Miller is bursting with energy and character.
His genuine love for Disney films is so evident in his many, many portraits of the classic characters. He captures each one’s personality and body language with a loving accuracy— which is extra impressive in his paper art pieces. It’s one thing to create flowing lines and a sense of movement through drawing on a flat surface, but Riller manages to do so with dozens of paper shapes all pieced together that build into figures who look like they were captured mid-movement.
Riller employs expert compositions and color palettes that are like candy, but my most favorite detail is, well, the details. The close-up shots he shares give me a fresh appreciation of his work, as you can see the different paper textures and paint strokes and the individual abstract shapes that look exactly like flowing fabric or intricate backgrounds when you pull back again.

I love when he pairs up a solid color paper cut piece against one with subtle shading painting on it to add depth, that contrast between flat and rendered creates a sense of his figures transitioning from a flat illustration into an animated character who’s about to escape into the real world, like in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
There’s so much joy in every piece. They look like they were a joy to make and I know they’re a joy to look at. Give yourself a little joy break and go look at the artwork of Ryan Riller!
