[Progress Report]: 27th of July

Hey everyone,

You know it's for the main story if I haven't slapped a pretty girl on the image! While no "direct main story events" are planned for the upcoming version update, the distinction between main story event and character events is quite thin. The above event is mandatory for the main story to move forward and has some story revelations you might have caught a whiff of if you're active in the Discord!

This one has taken a while as rendering in that convenience store actually comes with a lot of problems, but I think you guys will enjoy what I've got in the works. There's not too much to say on the progress this week as... well, it's all spoilers, but I can tell you that I've got Riley's first "class" planned! That will be a widow maker of an event as fitting all of those characters into one environment makes even my upgraded rig chug, but it's a good way to see everyone in action! I'm going to need to test that sooner rather than later.

Now, that said, it's no spoiler that I have plans for Lovestruck to join the Academy. The goal is to move the story toward that next update. I need to seed a few plots (as above) so that we avoid awkward gaps in the story's flow. It's something I'm trying to be much better about. If things go smoothly, she'll have moved into the Academy "narratively" by then and I'll be placing her around in the following update just like I did Ferocitease.

Anyway, I've got to get back to rendering!
