[Progress Report]: 8th of June

Hey everyone,

I won't lie to you guys, I had a fairly surprising and uniquely difficult family situation come up right after the early build released and it took the entire week from me. It's mostly settled now and I've been back hard at work since. You can see the fruits of my labor above!

The second lecture event, the one featuring the three ladies you see in the picture, has been fully redone, scratching off another priority replacement! I actually want to blather a bit about this process.

These are hard to do. Not just because I need to preserve the plot threads I'd carefully laid out in the beginning while updating the images and dialogue to the new standard, but because I am also chomping at the bit to write new content! I see that many of you are excited with the recent release, both Lovestruck and Ojou-Trauma are on the horizon as well as the final steps to Artemisia's human shell, and instead of jumping right to that... I need to redo content that's in the first hour of the game. It's necessary. It is. I am still working toward a Steam release and having some of your worst looking content be right at the beginning of the game is a death sentence for any visual novel.

Long story short, I'm a bit behind and, with the Harper Event winning the Patreon Poll, I have fears that this update will feel short. It's early in this development cycle and I'm going to try and give it my all so that it doesn't, but old anxieties are going to creep up on me to try and steal motivation. I'll be trying my hardest to not let that happen.

Anyway, that's where my head it at! I'll be storyboarding today since the above event is completely finished.
