[Progress Report]: 6th of April

Hey everyone,

What a wild week, and next week is going to be even crazier! It's been a while since I've had a good ol' fashion crunch week. Sure, there's been deadlines, but a lot of those deadlines have been for things like the map navigation, the new menus, the story wiki, and so on. Now I'm back to having a old school knock-down brawl with the renders. Just me, the script, and my GPU against the world.

It's kind of nostalgic.

We're looking at least seven events for the next update, one of them being the first lecture overhaul and the last one being a main story event! It's been a bit since I've felt a momentum like this, probably because of aforementioned navigation tools and wiki, but I'm enjoying the ride. Well, as much as I can while screaming.

If I can pull it off, which... I should, this is going to be the first update in a while that has what I believe to be the appropriate amount of content. Seven might seem short, but there are some thick events in this one, including a few I didn't think would turn out that way. Sometimes, not even I know where the story is going. I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't nervous about the one next week, but a mountaineer is never dispirited by a tall peak. Instead, it stimulates his lust for glory!

Anyway, I've got some storyboarding to do!
