Hey everyone,
Two Riley Pictures in Progress Reports in a row, what could this mean!?
Riley main story content of course!
Not just Riley, but also Valentina and Harper. The plot has advanced far enough that it's time to give some much needed character content to the other members of the Academy! Valentina is of particular note as her patrol route will be starting soon and she needs to set the foundation for her next angle of character development!
This reminds me a lot of when Superheroes Suck first started. I used to give every character their own week or two of content each update before the main story grew into the behemoth that it was. It has me nostalgic.
Anyway, there are few more things I want to mention!
The Early Build will be arriving a few days earlier this time as, at the end of October, I will be leaving on my first vacation in ages! I'll be flying out of the country for two weeks and, unlike the last time, I won't have a business agenda that stops me from doing anything fun. I know this seems like a terrible time to have a vacation, with prep work for the future Steam release coming up, but to get to the core as to why I'm doing this now: my mother is my only family left and I want her to see the world before she is too old to fly. That's all it is.
This also means that the following update will be shorter as I will be missing the first two weeks of that development cycle. You can find some mention on this on the Discord road map. This is also why I haven't been updating the road map. I'm just trying to accomplish as much as I can before I fly out.
That does it for me this week! I've got more renders to do tonight and some writing to do tomorrow!
