[Progress Report]: 4th of February

Hey everyone,
How is it February already!?
Well, I'm off whale-hunting this week, and by whale-hunting I mean trying to finish off a bunch of very large events! I'm predicting eight to nine events total for the release, which I think is great progress given the new environments and the overall progress occurring in the story. If everything goes well, we should be able to fully wrap up Valentina's current arc this cycle, which means we're off to the brand new patrol events after that!
Oh! I've received a question regarding how I distinguish what is a character's event. For example, there were many people who believed that the event Josie was in in the prior update was a Josie event, but this is not the case! Both the progress bar and hint system will show it was a Valentina event. I've done this a couple of times before, but what makes an event part of that character's story is that it progress their story line. There are things adjacent to Valentina that the protagonist needs to explore in order to better understand what's going on and how to tackle the problem, and this insight (or lack thereof) is what's being developed.
Aside from that, I expect the next two weeks to be very hectic work weeks, and I'm already prepping for it. I've already got everything I want to do in mind - I just need to sit down and render. And, with that, I'm off to render!
