Lookit that, I actually followed through and made a second video in what I hope will be a series documenting my attempts at vegetable gardening! Ironically, it's the previous video, titled "Erika Plays in the Dirt", where I'm planting my beets, and then this video, titled "Beeting Off with Erika Moen", features no beets whatsoever, it's just cabbages and cauliflowers and sugar snap peas, which I mistakenly call "sweet peas" in the audio π¬π¬π¬Wait, is that ironic? I can never remember what counts as the proper usage of ironic. All I know is that I had some light rain on my weeding day.
Here's Grow Box #1 on March 30th
And here it is March 31st!
I planted Snowball Cauliflower...

...and Alcosa Savoy Mini Cabbage.
I'd wanted to plant some of that ornamental purple cabbage stuff, but they didn't have any at the garden center so I let Matt pick out which one he wanted and chose these boys based on their taste-factor.
Surprisingly, everybody's still alive and looking healthy, two weeks later! I'm just as shocked as you are.
I didn't want to name them until I knew who would be sticking around, but I guess... well. I guess I've got some baby name books to consult!
