[Progress Report]: 26th of December

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas the other day, or enjoyed your excuse to dress in all red for a day if you don't celebrate it!

With Version 0.975 out it's time to talk about the Version 1.00 release as well as some other things going around.

First, I'll just mention that Version 1.00 will be a slightly shorter update than usual, I'm thinking around 6-7 events instead of the usually 8-10. I spoke about this some time ago, but I mentioned that I would need to stop work for about a week while the flooring in my place was torn up and replaced due to an issue the seller never disclosed. Mold. It was mold. That said, it was only one lost week of development time while that was taken care of, and I was planning on working through the holidays this year anyway, so I didn't think a delay would be appropriate.

Also, Version 1.00 contains the game's midpoint event, marking the middle of the main story, and requires some special tuning and planning to achieve. My goal is to have the midpoint done by 1.00, the aftermath (everyone's reaction to the midpoint event) by 1.10, and the Protagonist's power reveal by 1.20. There will likely be halfway events in between these to further flesh out the story.

That's the tentative schedule I have lined up. After 1.20, I would like to switch focus on addressing many of Superheroes Suck's sandbox issues... like not having anything to do in the sandbox environment. I've ignored this aspect of the game to focus on the story up until now, but we're getting to the part where it needs to be addressed. The "skip time" button is not supposed to be mandatory for progression, but that is how things are right now and I would like to fix it.

Oh! I should probably talk about the above image. Both Valentina's and Chrys' H-scenes from the prior two Versions are being made into repeatable events! I wanted these out in the last update, but I need to make coding adjustments in the weekly schedule for Version 1.00 anyway and it just makes sense to do it all at once.
