[Progress Report]: 21st of November

Hey everyone,

Progress on Version 0.975 is going well. The goal for this update is to set the foundation for Version 1.0, which will be the midpoint of the main story for Superheroes Suck. I don't want to give anything away right now, but this should be the jumping off point for a lot of pay-offs in the game. You can expect the reveal the protagonist's powers as well as more encounters with the game's villains in updates soon after that.

As a reminder, Version 1.0 does not mean that the game is done! I am not stopping development of Superheroes Suck for the foreseeable future. I guess a meteor could hit me or something, but other than that, expect regular updates until we have roughly three times the content we do currently. And more features, speaking of which...

Hey, Solace, are you planning on implementing an option to remove the black dialogue box for a more streamlined font option? What about other game features?

Thank you for asking! Long story short, I am not planning to work on the "core" systems of Superheroes Suck until we are at least at Version 1.15 or 1.2. This because the midpoint of the game's story will require a lot of build up as well as reactions after the fact. It would feel strange to implement such a crucial story point but then not have the characters react to it for months because I'm tweaking the back-end. I'm already pushing it with Version 1.0 having the big event, and then likely getting the reactions in Version 1.5.

Once we are well past the midpoint, however, I'd like to go back and start fleshing out some of the features that Superheroes Suck was always supposed to have, like a more functionality to the protagonist's room and so on.
