[Progress Report]: 16th of May

Hey everyone,

The early release of Version 0.80 is uploading now! I should have it out tonight as scheduled.

This was a challenging development cycle, although for very different reasons than the last one. Version 0.75 was a mountain - lots of coding work, revisions, and new systems, and other things that just about burned me out by the end. I had to start Version 0.80 a little slow to recover from it. I used that time to do a few more subtle touch-ups on a few characters, and to create some of the new environments you'll see during the new events.

Aside from that, it was a real struggle to get back into the mindset of the current content for Harper and Valentina. It had been so long since their story arcs had moved forward, I had to dig back into my notes to remind myself what I had planned for them. The ball is rolling again, so working on them in the future should much easier. I'm still very happy with the result, and now that I've shored up the foundations and laid out the brick work for the main story, I feel very confident moving forward.

The job search is also still underway, I'll give more updates on that when it affects the work schedule. In the mean time, I'm still working on Superheroes Suck with the majority of my week!

Anyway, that's enough vague, spoiler-free rambling from me. Also, thank you to everyone who reached out to me about my opinion on a Discord community. Maybe once we hit about 100 patrons? Is that a good number? Let me know.
