How did anyone ever let me get away with this?

Hey everyone,

Today, I wanted to show you a little sneak up of what's going on with the Academy, as well as show off the replacement for Chrys' very first event in the game. As you can see...

It was needed.

After I was finished with the introduction, I started going through the game with the idea that "I should change everything that stuck out to me" provided that I had the time. I've added three or four new music tracks, and music in general changes more often in the game. I've also added around a dozen new sound effects which help vary the tone. I didn't want to go overboard to preserve the file size. The coding change has been very helpful in adding new content, and I've been steadily chipping away at the old renders that need to be replaced to match the new look.

I've tried to take it a little easier this week, clocking in at around forty-five hours. Since the new version comes out next weekend, I figured I would build up my reserves a little before I sprinted to the finish line. There's a few more things left to do this week, including the redesign of Chrys' other slideshow animation (the first one has already been touched up), and maybe some time fixing one or two of Valentina's events. After that, we're all systems go for the launch. It'll be a tough squeeze, but I'm confident that I can manage it before the Sunday deadline.
