[Progress Report]: 30th of August

Hey everyone,

I've got some mixed news. On the bright side, I caught up on last week's work delay after the family drama. As you can see from the above image, it's Harper's turn to grab a bit of the spotlight! I've been working on her new arc, with the hope that I can move onto Valentina's next week and then finish the upcoming Release with Riley reintegration into the academy. There's been a delay in the poll for Riley's new "casual" outfit, for reasons I'll get into now.

Short Life Update:

I am in extraordinary physical pain. A very long story made short: the tendon in my right foot has torn and I react badly to most of the strong pain medication the hospital can safely prescribe, which has left me with over the counter stuff. It doesn't work well. I spent the last four or so days bedridden in abject agony and unable to move, which sucked.

Despite this, I determined that the update will not be delayed. So help me, with all that August is throwing my way, we will see the release of Version 0.55 on time. I am feeling better as of this morning, and while I have to hop on one foot to get around, I can now reach my computer desk, the evidence of which is this post. I'll get to work on content later today and play some catch-up. I don't think it'll be too difficult - while I missed several days, I have been switched to work fully from home on my day job, so I technically have more time going forward.

You all know that I don't like to give short update posts, so I just wanted this information out there as to why this one is short. I only had two days to really "work." I'm hoping that the workflow will be back to normal by next Sunday's update.
