Matt's comic on masturbating with a penis (This link will go live April 3rd at 12:01am PST, so if you're clicking it before then you're gunna see an error page) necessitated drawing a fearsome Iron Fist.

That is my very own hand! And the layout I envisioned for this portion of the comic.

My linework, ready for Matt to color. I went for a really blocky illustration, to emphasize the rigidity of the phenomenon we described in the text.

Et... VOILA. This is how Matt transformed both my illustration on my layout! It's not at all what I had envisioned and I... actually... like it way better. QUELLE SURPRISE.

We just barely finished this comic in time to upload it for tomorrow's release, haha. I mean, like, Matt completed coloring it, like, an hour or so ago. Which is because I only finished drawing it around 4pm this afternoon. Some days we get our comics wrapped up in time to enjoy a weekend off, but pretty regularly we're right up to the deadline, furiously drawing and coloring the night before it's 'sposed to go up. Haha, I can't believe how many comics we've done like this. Pretty regularly an organization or something contacts us about licensing an OJST strip and neither of us will remember having made it in the first place. "We covered [X] subject?" one will ask while the other looks it up on our own site. Haha, the last four (almost five) years are a blur of pink obscene illustrations.

...Oh hold the fucking phone! I just actually READ that last screencap for the first time! Matt cut some of my text?!?!? Goddamnit! I think it adds context!!!! >:O

It's 11:05pm. The comic is uploaded. I'm too tired to poke my tired husband to add my text back in, clear our website's cache, and re-upload the new strip. You win this round, Nolan. This time.
