Hey, everyone!
The public release of the update is here! Earlier than usual by a few hours because I've been scheduled to work this afternoon. Thankfully, the upload finished last night! Special thanks to patron Devil who found the looping bug in the game so I could get it fixed before today!
There are a lot of changes in version 0.50. The lighting overhaul being the major "technical" goal, as well as story changes. One of the criticisms I get for the game is that the protagonist is a little too quiet - he doesn't respond much, or offer quips or insights of his own. In the beginning, I imagined him more of a silent protagonist, but with how the girls are all developing - I don't think that was a good choice in hindsight. The goal going forward is to give him more of a voice. I don't want him to distract from the girls, but I think giving him more direction will help the story overall. You guys can see how I tried to do that in this update. I'm okay with him being bland, just let me know if he's too distracting.
Let's see... this is just one of those updates where I can't say too much, but that's okay because it's a release day! I'll try and keep the spoilers to a minimum for the next few updates in case you don't get a chance to play it this week. Enjoy!

2020-08-16 07:46:54 +0000 UTCHi, I've noticed Riley's ring appears and disappears during the scene in the park, after the kiss. Every time she speaks, the ring is gone, but appears again when she's silent just until MC says it's gone
