[Progress Report]: 31st of May

Hey everyone,

The development is going well on Version 0.45 and, as you can see, I'm working on Harper at the moment. Harper has been... really unloved. I realized as I sat down to work on her content, that she didn't have a single event in the game that took advantage of her new looks, outfit, and so on. Out of all of the girls, she has undergone the largest change in appearance and style since the game's creation, and I didn't have an opportunity to showcase it! I've also never heard anyone call Harper their "favorite girl." Even Queen Unbreakable seems to have a larger following! This is really unfortunate given how essential Harper is in getting the plot rolling - her seduction of the protagonist kicking off the escalating battle royal for his affection. 

All of that said, I'm not surprised Harper has fallen to the wayside in favor of the other girls. Harper had the largest amount of content at the game's release - back when my skills were at an even lower point as well as my computer's rendering ability - and the demand for fleshing out Valentina, Chrys, and Riley (in that order) has all outweighed improving my clumsy introduction of Superhero Suck's bookish blonde. Out of all of the girls, her arc is harmed the most by the disjointed start of the game, and I will likely have to redo large swathes of her original content to truly combat this. 

Of course, this is not the "Harper Update" and I'll probably put redoing some of the starting events, as well as adding new "early" events, as an option for a future poll - it would be a comprehensive overhaul of the early pacing of the game. I would feel more comfortable going back to that once I have more new "current time" events, though, something that I know you're all eager for.

Well, that's enough rambling from me. I should finish Harper's story updates in the upcoming week, and then switch over to Riley and Chrys! I'm hoping to put some extra hours in and get all of their planned content done early so I can add at least one story event -  something that covers the end of the first Patrol and the reaction of the girls when they learn about your heroic (and insane) antics.
