Hey everyone,
The goal for version .40 is to finally expand the main story of Superheroes Suck by introducing the Patrol events as well as the beginnings of the villain characters. I'm hoping to have at least one or two involved before the next release, so I'll keep you all posted.
Above is an image from one of the new lecture events that utilize the academy classroom. I haven't been touching these scenes because they used to be impossible to render. Believe it or not, the original classroom event took me three weeks to render out on the old hardware. I would like to think that I have improved quite a bit since then, and you will be able to see all of the characters with their updated looks. It's a stark contrast when you're flipping back and forth between the two like myself.
"Lectures" like these will take place on Sundays during the week, and start more or less as soon as you finish the prologue period. This should help fill out some time at the Academy, and make you feel like the story is actually moving instead of waiting around for you to woo the girls. The lectures themselves aren't all that sexy, but there will be some good information for it during the plot - which of course will lead to the situations we're all looking forward to.
