"Modest Exhibitionist", mini-interview with Allan Amato

After the photoshoot was over, I sat down with him to talk about my personal perspective on, and appeal for, getting naked in front of an audience. What can I say? I'm a modest exhibitionist.

Really nice video, you seem so comfortable and natural. And you're saying things that make sense to me, but are very personal as well. Much like sharing your naked body, in the video you're sharing your naked mind. How honest and brave - you are truly one of my heroes.

You are very appreciated. Thank you! The answer is probably yes, since you live in the Seattle area, but are you familiar with Dan Savage's HUMP! film festival? It's the safest way I've ever come across to dip your toes into adult film, if it's something you wanna do.

I remember reading your comics about life modeling but it's really neat to hear the story behind how you got into it and your thoughts on it in your voice. I don't know if I'd ever work up the courage to try it but I always kind of admired you being so brave about being part of the artistic process and the kind of vulnerable but weirdly safe place it puts you by being a life model. This just makes me see you as being even cooler!
