I got back to the states a day and a half ago and because my body was handling the jet lag like a champ, now I am coming down with a cold as punishment for my hubris at thinking I could master switching time zones like a bad ass D: Crrrrrrraaaaaapppppp, I don't have time to get sick! I was sick the week before I went on my trip, then I spent two weeks abroad, if I have to add another week of being sick to that... Oof :-/
In not-sick news:
So, uh. The Library of Congress requested permission to create a digital archive of my DAR! A Super Girly Top Secret Comic Diary site, so it'll be in their records and researchable for posterity. I'm simultaneously feeling incredibly honored, validated, and super flabbergasted. Over a decade ago I created my DAR! comics the same way people write Facebook posts or Tweets, just to share the miscellaneous thoughts and moments in my day-to-day life. It was my social media outlet before social media existed. Just... the bullshit and feelings of a 20 year old.
This is like the Library of Congress saying, "Hey, we found your Livejournal from the 2000s and think it's culturally relevant and worth preserving for the generations, that cool with you?" And it's like SERIOUSLY? I mean, go for it if you wanna, but isn't that kinda a waste of your resources?
What this means is that my comic about queefing day old spunk back into Matt's mouth while he was going down on me is now preserved for the ages in the revered halls of the Library of Congress.
It's official.
I have contributed to society.
