Hey guys!
Ok, so your responses to my last post (November 20th) were SUPER helpful. And appreciated. And uplifting.
Thank you for being helpful and appreciation-instilling and uplifting.
I've been ruminating on your feedback and what I also need as a human being who is trying not to burn out on internet fatigue. So I'm gunna cut back to just a weekly-ish catch up or essay if I've got a topic burning a hole in my mind.
Do you like this illustration? Matthew and I made it together for the free print I'll be giving out at my book signing this Sunday to people who spend $10+ in She Bop. Are any of you Portland folks gunna be around for that? Here's the deets:
December 7, 7-9pm
She Bop (The NEW location)
3213 SE Division St., Portland
The store'll be selling Matthew's and my favorite toys for 10% off, too!
ALSO. Matthew and I were talking about things to try with the comic (we're always talking about The Comic. I think 85% of our conversations are about The Comic.) and he brought up using it to dish dish out some sex advice. We'd talked about this when we first starting up, but I was like nooooooooo no no no. People always FREAK OUT on advice columnists and I already can't keep up with my email so inviting people to send me EVEN MORE just sounded like a recipe for disaster to me.
But.
Maybe... that's something I could do with... you guys? Here's what we're thinking:
My Patrons (you!) can submit their (your!) sex-related questions to me through Patreon and if I feel I've got a good answer I'll turn it into a comic.
Is that... are you into it? Do you have a sex-related question you wanna throw my way? It's okay if you don't. But if you do, either post it as a reply here if you're brave or you can send me a direct message through Patreon's site if you need a little more privacy. If you don't want me to use your first name in the (potential) comic, then sign your letter with your nom de plum of choice.
Because I am eternally overwhelmed with email, please understand that I do care but I can't respond to everyone individually and if you're in crisis please reach out to the health resource centers in your area.
Alright, that's it!
MWAH,
Erika
