Added 2014-02-22 02:40:24 +0000 UTCIt's 6:32pm and I'm done with work! Oh my gosh, I don't think I've left the studio before 7pm for... well, at least this entire week.
Yesss!!
Fridays are my shipping days, so I started the morning shipping out packages for orders from both my store and Periscope's. People in the studio will each take on tasks to help maintain our workplace's daily operations and I took on shipping out our Etsy shop's orders (http://periscopestudio.etsy.com) since it was really easy to just incorporate that into my pre-existing workflow of shipping out my own orders. Other people do stuff like maintain our social media, or do computer-y network-y stuff, or run the intern program, etc., etc.
Oo, and I also signed 50 DAR! books that are going to be shipped out as rewards to the people who backed Periscope's Kickstarter. I've been procrastinating on that one for a while so it's nice to get it off the old To Do list.
And then the rest of the day was taken up with coloring. Coloring mostly in Manga Studio, I might add. I used MS to color all the figures (first time!) and then I still had to rev up PhotoShop to do the background shapes and tweak the text.
There were a few tasks I was hoooooping I could squeeze in today, but I'll see if I can get started over the weekend.
