First time watch for me. I liked it. European movies from the 90s and early 2000s already had a difference in visuals comparing with US stuff. But here I think the visuals have a grunge look on purpose as it matches well with the theme. I liked the direction which featured a lot of original framing, and the editing as well. The script was a tad limited for me but back when it was released it probably felt different. I'm very interested to see how the other 2 will compare!

2025-10-11 21:45:38 +0000 UTCBasically this was the first zombie film that introduced the "aggressive" type. Since then many have used that kind of zombie style because it raises the stakes by a lot. Also quite a few tropes in general. If not for Shaun of the Dead, or One Cut of the Dead, this would be my favourite Zombie film.
