I had to look it up, and the actor who plays an actor from an episode of Bones actually was in that episode of Bones. So meta.

I too was really disappointed in Maze during this episode. The sad truth is that Maze is blaming Chloe for all the things that she should be mad at Lucifer for. Maze is so angry that she’s going on a destructive rampage and Chloe is the easiest target for all her woes.

I'm pretty sure it's not about lucifer or Cains feelings it's about chloe's whoever or whatever kind of celestial being or immortal she is in love with becomes vulnerable

I never took it as the mark was gone because he did the right thing, it was gone because he had feelings for and actually cared about chloe and that makes him vulnerable, the same way it does with Lucifer, like in season 1 episode 1 he gets shot in front of her but it doesn’t affect him and he’s fine but later in season 1 once he starts getting feelings and starts falling for chloe when she shoots him he bleeds and he starts being able to get hurt, it’s all about chloe.

Lucifer is a selfish character, but it's only because he struggles deeply with understanding human emotion. For eons… Lucifer has only had himself he could depend on to survive. Maze used to be on his side, but he's never fully trusted her because she's a demon and he's the devil. The only person really looking out for him since they were born was himself, especially when even his own brothers and sisters have been looking to destroy him. So it makes sense that Lucifer would be selfish. And yet in spite of all his pain and fighting to survive for himself, Lucifer has come to love Chloe, who is the only other person who actually truly cares about him in spite of his weirdness. Outside of Amenadiel, Linda, Ella, and Maze on occasions. These four characters care about Lucifer, but they can't really understand him like Chloe does, even though she refuses to believe the truth about who Lucifer is. This is why I love Lucifer as a character so, so much because he's such a complex character who feels more than he can possibly understand after all the pain he's suffered from since being cast out of Heaven into Hell and forced to become the punisher and villain the world sees him as.

Chloe wanted to move on, she wants to be in love with Pierce because it would be easier, but does what she wants equate to what she actually feels?
