While this can be true in the Wizard of Oz at least in the movie the Wizard isn't a "good guy" he's deceitful and a fraud. It's the whole point of don't look behind the current/ not everything is what it seems. That's why Wicked works as "fanfiction" because it uses elements from the original story to create a new piece of work.

Wicked, as good as it is is essentially published fan fiction, the original novels are in the public domain so everyone can use those characters and Wicked tells a "What if the wicked witch was actually good and the wizard was the bad guy" fantasy because it's an interesting twist but it does not line up with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz at all.

And Lillia's ability reminds me of Loki's timeslipping ability. It almost seems as if she has finally arrived and can now start her life over again but without the constant fear of her powers. But that could just be me.

Especially yalls reaction to Agatha being the Wicked Witch - the timing was just perfect lol Best episode of this show, and one of the best in the whole MCU. The writing was just perfect, and Lilias sacrifice never fails to get me teary eyed. "I loved being a witch" :') Fun fact, most people (myself included) got badly spoiled on who Teen and Rio were, because Funko Pop decided to bring out their figures weeks before, with them being called "Wiccan" and "Death/Lady Death". I was kinda mad at first, but they did the reveals perfectly, sooo yea
