2025-01-07 21:30:21 +0000 UTCHm.. I like to keep in mind that most of the players are deeply hurt individuals with a skewed sense of reality, so it’s not surprising that they act in unusual ways. Many of them have been through horrible experiences and I think Dae Ho is no exception. I rewatched the scene you mentioned but don’t think he hesitated because his story isn’t true. His hesitation seems to stem from vulnerability rather than deception, and his sensitivity to the topic felt genuine to me. If anything, his backstory suggests he might be struggling with unresolved feelings about being pressured into the military. A shift like that from an ultra-feminine to a hyper-masculine environment must have been deeply jarring for him

He showed up about the same time as in ho player 001. No spoilers so just from what you've seen so far, when he was being asked about being a marine his facial expressions and hesitancy, then quickly changing the subject was so suspicious to me... he and 001 also give each other brief looks here and there. I really believe that he's working with 001 in some capacity. Thoughts?

Also, incase you guys do not know, 'unnie' means older sister, or older woman, or can just be a woman older than you that you admire, it is a term of affection used between women. So when Young-mi used it for Hyun-ju, that was likely the first time she had been called that and it was sweet. Noona means similar, but for men towards women!

I can get it all. The odds are even." Frankly the foreshadowing from earlier in the season with the recruiter was masterful.

In the red light green light episode , when he’s in his room he takes off his mask with his left hand , pours his drink with his left hand and grabs the remote to turn on the music with his left hand. But when it’s his turn in the game to throw the spinning top , he uses his right hand. Then with his final throw , he finally uses his left hand. That just proves he wasted so much time on purpose to f*ck with them lol

2025-01-06 03:34:27 +0000 UTCNot sure if you picked up on it...but the Frontman was winding and throwing the spinning top with his right hand when he kept failing and then with his left when he succeeded. Just a small tidbit which makes you realise it was intentional. I also said this on another reactors' channel, but the Frontman often says things which make you question if he almost wants to be caught...like how serial killers want people to know what they've done. He used Gihun's name last episode before they all actively shared names...he said he doesn't drink plain milk like Gihun said in the last season. The Frontman often almost teases Gihun by 'playing innocent' and saying things like 'oh who would pick umbrella?' or that people wouldn't kill each in the night etc when he knows. He just likes watching Gihun take the bait every time. He even uses the fake name Oh Youngil which should've raised red flags for Gihun...because aside from him being 001 this season, his name literally means OH (zero), YOUNG (zero), IL (one)...much like how last season's 001 was OH (zero), IL (one), NAM (male). I believe the Frontman wants to show Gihun that his belief in people is unfounded, like what Dave said...and without Gihun realising it, he manipulates or draws Gihun's mentality to 'the other side' to feel more justified in his reasoning. He wants to break down Gihun's truth.

Gi-Hun went to start the convo and he'd already been warned so I think Front Man started talking to keep Gi-Hun in tact and knew they wouldn't kill him for his outbursts or for leading the convo. (Disclaimer: I could be wrong. I haven't finished the season!)

Loved your reaction when the game was being played, like, you were literally in the story, breathing in and out, stressed, yelling, tensed, good stuff here 🔥🔥

2025-01-05 22:49:42 +0000 UTCI actually like that in this season, the players are rooting for each other in game. I do dislike how bloodthirsty the Os are after the fact. Unlike s1, you can definitely see how and why these people ended up in so much debt. Also, that merry go round song is an absolute banger. I was dancing right along with Thanos. 🤣🤣🤣 Fun tidbit, for the spinning game, Lee Byung Hun (001) was so good that every time he threw it, it would spin. Even when he threw it behind him, it spun. And when main team finishes and Gihun's friend is covering his face and crying...the actor hit his head on the camera when crossing and was in actual pain. To me, this made the scene that much better.

EDIT: Also, now that I'm halfway through the episode, Quinn I'm so glad that you referred to 120 as "they" when that player voted. Always appreciate how inclusive and open-minding the Badd Medicine crew is.
