Discount Tiers and YCHes
Added 2015-08-22 21:41:08 +0000 UTCSince I'm gonna do a YCH in like, 10 minutes, some people had questions about how discounts interact with YCH auctions. After some careful thought, I don't think its fair to non-backer bidders to compete with people who can bid phantom investment banker money. I also don't want to get into the insane logistics of how to work out who actually won between a 20% and 30% bidder.
BUT on the other hand, its also not fair for a discount to not count on something that happens very, very frequently. So here's the deal. If you have a discount any discount at all, I'll bump whatever tier you ended at up to the next higher one. For example, if you bid $35, which is ordinarily cel shading, I'll bump you up to painted/soft shading. You get more out of your discount, the math stays flat, and I get to do Pizza Tier more frequently and as far as I'm concerned that's a win for everyone. =3
