That end sequence for this episode was so fantastic. This is my 4th watch through and it continues to amaze me. Hall of fame series

2024-11-21 23:48:49 +0000 UTCwatching it when it first came out it was about 16 months before season 4 came out and it was torture not knowing what was going to happen. Tommy was getting a bad press for his actions even though he had no choice. If he hadn't have gone through with what the Oddfellows wanted, which was to punish his family for blowing up the train and for the killing of Father Hughes it could have been worse. He knew that his deal would save them. Season 4 is very western like in style and brilliant tv cant wait for you to see what is going to happen!!!!!!!

2024-11-13 23:03:34 +0000 UTCSomeone suggested doing S4 episodes 1&2 as a double up, but I would definitely keep them separated. There's too much in both of those episodes to have a fair discussion afterwards. I didn't watch the show until it finished airing and I kind of regret mainllining S1-S5 within the span of a week and a half. I didn't give myself a chance to properly process everything in each episode. Rewatching it week to week with you guys, I'm taking away way more from it than a bulk watch. Even so, can't wait for your journey to continue.

So he reveals in this episode that he has already made a deal with the higher ups and the evidence/information that he has against the opposition should come into play, but we’ll see what happens next season! However, I do think Tommy should’ve gave his family a heads up before 😂

2024-11-13 21:26:46 +0000 UTCThis was always the plan for who hired Tommy to do the deed. It is no coincidence the Peaky Blinders were tasked with this job. Its a win-win for the perpetrators. Peaky Blinders never had a choice to participate. Tommy stated in the premiere that they could send them to jail for their many offenses committed. What they don't count on is how Tommy operates and the information he has on his enemies. That leverage will be used to make the deal. Tommy is not arrested because they don't have any crimes on him personally to prosecute publicly. Tommy being the one still free is an advantage here. They have been screwing them over constantly which is why Tommy made sure the Peaky Blinders get something out of the deal hence the jewels exchanged for the cash. The politicians were the only way out. Someone had to pay for the explosion with the murders. I didn't watch this series in real time either. I found it when season 5 aired. Hands down this series is in my top 5 fave of all time! Season 3 and 4 is my favorite. I cannot wait to see your response! Peaky FOOKIN’ Blinders!
