Walt Disney World opened in 1971. Walt and his brother Roy announced the plans to build in 1965 but the greatest cartoonist in American history passed before construction began. By 1968 with Roy Disney spearheading the project, the land had been purchased, the legislation creating the special taxing district had been signed into law and on May 27, 1969 construction of Walt Disney World officially began ... probably with the forced relocation of the first of several hundred alligators 🤣🤣🤣 ... damned pale faces taking over "native American" land again 🤣🤣🤣. That special taxing district is the same one that Ron DeSantis and the Walt Disney Company had that HIGHLY PUBLIC political d1(k measuring contest over a few years ago. I think DeSantis "technically" won that but not before Mickey Mouse and Friends made sure they "stole all the cheese" on the way out the door

2024-12-15 07:10:53 +0000 UTCI'd forgotten ... from the first time I saw this I've always been pretty certain that JUST the licensing fees ALONE for the music for this movie had to have cost Ilumination and Universal EVERY RED CENT of profit from BOTH of the Despicable Me movies that preceded this🤣🤣🤣🤣
