I think the Wall Titans are buried with their feet in the ground, based on the story from the series where a guy tried to dig under the walls but encountered a floor-like barrier of the same material. I think those were the feet, which would make them the same height as the Colossal Titan.

Eren was supposed to see if humanity from the Titans but in the end ended up using the Titans to wipe out humanity

Hence Paradis Island and the town, which was inspired by a real German town (Nördlingen). Then there are all the German names of the characters and the music with German lyrics. Then there's the location of Paradis Island. If you've been paying attention, the world map of AoT is just our world map turned upside down and Paradis is in Madagascar. And I don't think that's a coincidence either. “The Madagascar Plan (German: Madagaskarplan) was a plan proposed by the Nazi German government to forcibly relocate the Jewish population of Europe to the island of Madagascar.”

2024-11-06 18:26:38 +0000 UTCI really think there's some parallel between AOT and the real world, like: - Rumbling being a nation's nuclear trump card. - Paradis' isolation and pacifism seems to mirror Japan with its pacifist constitution but recently being forced to change it because of big bad China. - People around the world being taught that Chinese are bad people while for sure if you go there you would meet good people as well. And vice versa works too where Chinese people are taught to hate towards people in Japan due to WW2 atrocities (Eldian atrocities towards Marley) The author Isayama is really a genius.

Of course we don't know about this attempt at peace talks until the last main episode of the series, but it's incredibly telling that Eren *only* attacked Marley when they declared war on Paradis. And not just Marley, but the whole *world* did so! That was an assembly of all the nations, each of which we're led to believe has an Eldian internment zone and who on a systemic level believes that Eren's people are island devils and that his whole race is subhuman. Not just the governments, but the civilians too. They're literally just angry that they declared war and lost, that's all.

So yeah his huge size does come from the fact that he is the founding titan. Although if his head didn't get blown off his titan would look similar to ymir's titan (like a human like shape and not some abomination and deformed titan) and is the same size. And as for the ackerman's power, eren did lie about the need to protect the host that mikasa has. Zeke clearly stated that there was no such thing and it was 100% because mikasa likes eren and not some "protecting the host" kind of bs. The fact that eren still told her that even after zeke said that is not a thing means that he lied to her. Also i think her confession does affect the choice he makes, because there must be a reason he ask her that before he leaves the squad to stay in marley.

She has been keeping her promise all this time. Understanding Mikasa better isn’t easy on first watch because she is one of the most reserved and introverted characters but it really becomes important now to look at her character more attentively.

Mikasa just genuinely loves Eren so much that she would do anything for him. When Eren asked what he is to her thats where he was looking for his answer, but she said family which isn't the right answer as we see her questioning it at the end on the boat. Eren loves Mikasa too, which has been established already

I think it depends on the pure titan form a person had before eating (and thereby inheriting) a titan shifter. It also depends on the person, their personality and goals. There's a theory (or at least I think it's a theory) that Armin's colossal titan has no ears because he doesn't want to hear the screams of the people. We can only imagine how many amazing beast titans there were before Zeke, bc clearly not all of them had to be monkeys. Another interesting fact is genetics. Zeke, Grisha and Eren all had pointy elf ears in their titan forms. Grisha and Eren both had the attack titan, but Kruger, who had it before Grisha, had normal ears. Titan lore is just soo interesting and deep.

If you go back and rewatch the part where Eren is talking to Zeke you will realize that Zeke dismissed the notion that Mikasa is somehow hardwired to protect Eren. In fact Zeke says, "I think she just likes you enough to kill Titans for you." meaning she isn't genetically compelled to protect Eren. She just has strong emotions for him. In other words, Eren, after realizing the truth, lied to Mikasa in order to distance himself from her, and Armin, because he had already made up his mind on wiping out the outside world. Why? Because he didn't want them to be stained with the act of global genocide that he was already committed to enacting. P.S. If you go back to Season 1, Episode 2 his future actions were foreshadowed even back then! That episode has a scene where kid Eren is on a evacuation boat with Armin and Mikasa, after his mom died, and he walks up to the railing and says, "I'll kill them all!" which is a very early line that foreshadowed where this show was heading. Of course he was talking about the Titans that were threatening their existence in that season. However when the existential threat became the outside world, and the rest of humanity, Eren didn't change his mindset on how to deal with said threat.

When it merged with Ymir she was wounded but whole and the enormous Titan that emerged from her had a more human form. With Eren now most of it is a gigantic skeleton of the parasite itself attached to a human head that has a goal: wipe out the rest of the world so that few friends can live a long life in peace. As for the Ackerman blood I have seen so many people struggling with understanding what Zeke said to Eren, even people who watched it more than once. I understand that Zeke never gave Eren any reason to believe that Mikasa’s free will was diminished by her blood, rather that her own feelings were the reason she had followed him that far. Ackerman are stronger but that strength is tied to survival instincts. Levi put his strength and trust in Erwin, committed to follow him to give humanity a chance but was capable of giving the injection to Armin instead of saving Erwin. If his Ackerman blood was tied to a host then he would have chosen Erwin. Ackermans choose freely and the story Eren told Mikasa was false to make her stay on the island and make her give up on him.

The “first lifeform” reached out connecting the two again and the little arms of the creature became the giant rib looking bone structure. Eren has giant legs like the founder, then he has a centipede looking giant body connecting to his head.
