It's incredible how much emotion they could convey with subtle face expressions even back in 2001. Monsters Inc didn't hooked me right away when I first watched it as a kid but it grew on me as I got older, thanks for the reaction guys <3

2024-10-31 04:13:26 +0000 UTCI definitely recommend ya'll watch the bloopers on Youtube. I was surprised that the bloopers had been removed from the credits. Apparently Disney+ uses the widescreen version of the movie, but only the fullscreen version of the movie actually had the bloopers be a part of the credits. For future reference, only 5 of the Pixar movies had bloopers in the credits: Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, and A Bug's Life. If ya'll get around to watching those, just remember that there's definitely supposed to be bloopers. I miss when movies used to include them in the credits. One of the big reasons I always loved Jackie Chan films.

2024-10-30 21:34:24 +0000 UTCIt is sooo good that the big bad monster was a softy and also, yes this movie has some dark undertones but that's the thing, they are monsters and the people that made this movie found a great balance between a monster world and a movie for kids. Man, watching this, I was thinking, "they don't make Tham like this anymore" the thing is, we still have amazing movies but these old ones make me nostalgic. Anyways, Answer, your nephew and niece were born on 1995????? I don't remember the other year but man, you are a very young uncle, because I was born on 98 and that info just shocked me 🤣 P.s can you look for the bloopers and see them after you see monster university?

True Latina energy lmao 😂 They could not get the voice actress for boo to sit still to record her lines since she was 3 years old (not 5 as I said before my bad) so they just followed her around the studio with a mike to get the lines. Here’s her talking about it 4 years ago https://youtu.be/CLpry62340M?si=ABX-ptSr-xAjuyAv Boo’s name is really Mary. Named after the voice actress. Sully has 2.3 million strands of fur and it took them 12 hours to animate one strand, they created a program called fizt to automate the movement of his fur.

For the earlier films, they were still figuring out the animation technology, so each film was an experiment in developing something new that would later be used on the other films. In this film, it was the first time they tried doing fur. It wasn't possible before, and Sully's fur was a big challenge. So they had to develop new technology to make all those hair particles. Later on, that technological advancement would be used for all the films that came after.
