I love how you all have fun with the Rumbling opening! XD it just makes me instantly happy, whil I headbang along myself <3 I am just enjoying it so much seeing all the pieced fall together for you. As for all the suggestions what you should watch next... I still stand by wishing you watch My Hero Academia next. It is lighter in tone but it is very uplifting. Since you seem to love superheroes I think you would enjoy this take on the trope. And the story itself doesn´t lack serious moments and themes. It isn´t as dark and depressing as AoT but I feel that is a good thing to change it up a little. In the end you will compare all upcoming anime to AOT, so it is probably fairer for a story that is in such a contrast to it. I think you´d have much fun and laughter with My Hero Academia as well as getting all hyped with all the action scenes and what not X3

I recomend Vinland Saga for a next series. It has the look of an anime but the world its based in is in the viking era and it has great action scenes and evokes a lot of emotions throughout.

I still don't understand the people who sides with Eren's plan. Yes I understand his people was oppressed, his people was slaughtered. But killing the ENTIRE world for revenge is down right insane. It's like if the Jews decide to commit world genocide because a certain group slaughtered them, it's bewildering. It's unnecessary. In my opinion, this is where AOT falls flat, the stark difference in reasoning between the Warrior's reason to invade Paradis vs Eren's reason to commit world genocide. Reiner understood and learnt that not everyone on the island are the "devils" they were told, which is why Reiner felt so guilty afterwards and even became suicidal. Eren on the other hand, he knows there are good people outside of Paradis, he even acknowledges it in one of the episodes so him fully crashing out and ending the world just doesn't make sense to me, why doesn't he just target the specific oppressors? Or the military bases like Gabi said.

I agree with Oak in that there's a difference between Thanos, who wanted to kill everyone to solve the aparent lack of resources, versus Eren. We just differ in our perception of Eren. You say that he wants to kill everyone outside of the island as if it's simply some arbitrary distinction, whereas I say that he wants to kill all of the people who wanted to enact genocide against his people. Go back a week and *EVERYONE* across the world outside of some token holdouts is calling for the complete extermination of the people of Paradis, not to mention a longer term desire to exterminate the entire Eldian race. They were the ones that attacked his people, not the other way around. The only reason the rest of the world is crying about it now is because it turns out that the Paradisans actually had teeth to fight back with. They only have themselves to blame for poking the sleeping bear. In modern terms, they fucked around and now they're going to find out.

"Those ashy bones would never forgive me" is actually him talking about Marco. He was the one who died back in S1 and was the one who essentially motivated Jean to join the Scouts in the first place.

100% agree with the vinland saga comments as the next watch, most will probably tell you to watch in sub as always but the dub is insane and would highly recommend watching in the language that we all understand :D

I love the ashy bones comment because it can be seen as a callback to 1x16. In that episode, Jean grabs the ashes from the bodies burned after the battle of Trost and thinks of Marco. If you remember, Marco was the one who told Jean that he could be a great leader and one of the reasons why Jean joined the scouts.

I think its way more sophisticated than just being against genocide, like obviously genocide is terrible but it essentially boils down to the belief that the only way to prevent your enemies from doing it to you is to do it to them first. I think thats why the show is so great up to this point. They did a great job of making you almost root for both sides simultaneously.
