Culture/religious context: Yes asking three times is necessary for the religious vows lol. Also them being djins is kinda weird coming from a religious perspective but i guess marvel just took some liberties with that part . As for weddings, the muslim wedding was the vows taken next to the imam, then its customary to have a feast for a celebration. So the dancing and music and partying after the vows is purely cultural and will vary between cultures
