I think I read somewhere that Greta made the double ending as a tribute to Louisa. Thanks for your thoughts on this - thatβs why they recreate the literary classics - because they can be timeless and every remake speaks to a different generation π

It's astoundingly well acted and equal parts cozy/feel good and gut wrenching. She's also great in Lady Bird which also has Timothy. I also feel like The Lovely Bones, which she starred in with Stanley Tucci and Mark Wahlberg at just 13, is a reactor channel right of passage. She's great in everything she's been in lol.

It's not a vowel sound we use in American English, so that's as close as we get. 2024-08-09 06:18:12 +0000 UTCThis is such a good version. I also highly recommend the (3-episode) Little Women mini-series that came out in 2017, It has Emily Watson, Maya Hawke, Dylan Baker, and Angela Landsbury in it. Besides this film, the show is my favorite adaptation of the original book.
