from my understanding that all of the tv series and movies are introducing the young avengers so like the twins and white Vision from Wanda vision, the grandson of the Isaiah in falcon and the winter solder, Kate bishop in Hawkeye, hulk's son in she-hulk (the just did a sucky way to introduce him). Scot Lang's daughter, ms. marvel, America Chavez from dr strange multiverse of madness, iron heat from wakanda, love from thor love and thunder and maybe kid loki from loki. I was told this by an hardcore avengers watcher and made me aware to watch out for new avengers being introduced during the tv series.

Nope ..."Son Of Hulk" is a thing a big thing in the comics and what Kevin wanted Bruce to explain is of course the son ... but also "World War Hulk" which is an WAS supposed to be a thing for Ruffalo / Hulk as it was "leaked" internally in late 2021, but there is question if it will happen. But we can assume "Son of Hulk" makes an appearance in the upcoming Cap movie at some point.

But I do think it had some clever jokes and I actually liked the Fourth-wall breaking, I thought they had a lot of great jokes in there, making fun of Marvel in general and the show itself as well. It's also not out of character for She Hulk, considering she did that in the comics, breaking out of panels to go after the comic artists and make them change things she didn't like. I also liked that line from Kevin, "see you on the big screen", "really?", "no". But one of the things they were making fun of, were the complaints people were making of Marvel always ending things the same way, feeling rushed with big CGI fights, but the ending that happened after the fourth-wall break, maybe it didn't have the big CGI fight, but it still felt rushed and honestly unsatisfying.

What I will say is the way the show ended with Jen and K.EV.I.N. changing the plot and getting rid of the big brawl is because of exactly what Jen said in the finale. People online complained that all Marvel projects were kind of the same always ending in a big CGI fight fest. So they used her fourth wall breaking as a way to subvert that expectation and poke fun at themselves. Also it was the higher up executives decisions to change around things like She-Hulk's first transformation that effected everything that came after it in postproduction. Originally we weren't supposed to see her first transformation where she got infected with the blood until a flashback in ep 8, so moving that up to ep 1 caused the VFX team to scramble to try and get the project done before the first ep release date. Overall, from all the stuff I've read and heard about the production of the show it just seems like the studio execs didn't let the project sit in preproduction to iron out the kinks before throwing it into production that then caused a cascading effect of everything getting messed up. Re-watching the show after reading all those stories I think they did the best with what they had to salvage what seemed to be a doomed project. I just hope if we see more of Tatiana Maslany as Jen they do her justice.

2024-07-31 11:19:22 +0000 UTCI can appreciate the show for what its worth. i like how far they took the fourth wall breaks in this episode, and i thought KEVIN was a nice touch. Planet Hulk is a comic book run where the Hulk does have a wife and a son. They toyed with the idea in Thor Ragnarok but they didn't go all the way and I was a little disappointed that they didn't explain anything about how Skaar came about. To me that's one of the best Hulk stories. Ultimately its not a show I see myself ever watching again but I don't think it deserves the hate it got. I enjoyed it more than Winter Soldier and Hawkeye.. I wonder what you all will think about Secret Invasion if you decide to check it out. Thanks for the reaction!

2024-07-31 00:38:24 +0000 UTCIt creates a bit of a paradox; with Deadpool, one could argue that he's completely out of his mind and he's an unreliable narrator. So his fourth wall breaks? The characters ignore them. But with She-Hulk, she now knows that she can change what she doesn't like, sort of. She knows it's not real. So how does she interact with other characters in the future? How does the audience suspend their disbelief when the characters don't? Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if She-Hulk is restricted to her own show. Maybe What If?, if they do a season 3 -- what if Deadpool and She-Hulk shared a universe? Something like that.

Secret invasion wasn’t bad but had some elements missing a lot better than this though. I didn’t mind this series but definitely miss marvel and secret invasion were a lot better. Definitely check out werewolf by night that was a great Halloween movie. A lot better.
