2024-06-26 04:17:32 +0000 UTCFor the subterranen forest, that's actually the ritual room where Rod was holding Eren and all of the chaos in the previous episodes occured. It's tough to see in the way they animated it, but all of that underground is the titan crystal room.

I was just saying what I said to avoid taking the "omg" moment of figuring things out by themselves

They found the titan in the wall and hange was experimenting on the piece of crystal Annie left behind which she compared to the wall and realised the wall is titan hardening. Therefore there are titans in each column. All of this has been explained
