Just to add to everyone else’s remarks on this, not watching this scene would be the same as skipping the first 30 seconds of episode one where they show the colossal behind the wall before he appears and kicks the door in. It’s the same for the opening scene of season three as well. The show many times shows a scene of the future without context to keep the audience engaged. And the payoff is getting the context to said scene. My vote is to watch it.

Oh my gosh, don't listen to these "don't watch" comments. They are literally taking away what Hajime Iseyama (the creator of Attack on Titan) and the rest of Wit Studio worked hard for. I guarantee you all of these people also experiennced the show as is with no skipping and it's one of the reason why they loved AOT (if they deny it they're lying to themselves) but for some bs reason that they tell themselves they think they can control what you guys will see. They just think they're better than the creators of Attack on Titan, basically.

I understand that Erwin is one of commenting people's favorite character, but not every single person might like/react to him the way you want them to. No need to be sour about it. Erwin is the goat, but if they like Armin, Hange or Levi more then those are the characters thats speak to them more! Everyone is different, and is affected by different actions and stories. Btw. I know others have recommended Vinland Saga after this, and I think you'll definitely love it. Did you know why Mikasa suggested to Historia that she should punch Levi after she becomes queen? In the manga, Levi actually forced her to take on her role as queen. He grabbed her by the collar and lifted her up, yelling that if she didn't like it (becoming queen), she should fight him. She gave in and accepted. In the show, it doesn't have that big of an effect on why she should punch him.

Hey guys! I love your reactions. I just wanted to clarify one thing. Actually, I've kind of written this comment more than once but I hope you read it this time. It's not a spoiler. I promise. When someone is injected with the titan serum, they become a mindless titan (I heard one of you say that and I thought that was the perfect way to describe them). Mindless titans DO NOT have people inside them. They are JUST titans and nothing else. So there is no cutting a human out of a mindless titan. You cut them on the nape of their neck and they're gone like you've seen in earlier seasons. The ONLY WAY they gain the ability to switch back and forth is if the eat someone who has that ability. So what Rod Reiss was trying to do was turn her daughter into a mindless titan. Then they had Eren chained up at the perfect height for him to be the first human that she sees. She would have then eaten Eren and not only gained the ability to switch back and forth, but also retaken the powers of her sister that Greisha stole. And, since she is a Reiss, she would have gained all of the knowledge of the entire 100 year history and becme bound by the promise of the first king.

I don't think it is. We already heard about this when we learned about Ymir's backstory. She was wandering outside of the walls for decades before she ate an intelligent titan who happened to be Reiner and Bertholdt's companion. Eren relayed all that to Hange too.

I blame the Japanese voice acting. It's a lot harder to connect to people when they're speaking what is essentially a nonsense language. If they were listening to it in English, it'd be a lot easier for them to connect to the characters that aren't part of the core group of Eren, Armin, Mikasa, and Levi. Listening to Erwin in English, he sounds like a military commander instead of just some Japanese male, and they'd have an easier time seeing him as such.

I absolutely love how invested y'all are with each episode. "The basement!" - Lol, that whole part had me laughing so hard. And then, "Just wait, just wait," at the end there. I was watching the timer on the screen and grinning because I just knew y'all's response to the TBC screen would be entertaining. Speaking of the TBC screen... Every time that 'To be continued..." pops up, I feel like I'm watching and waiting for the next episode again because it's a week-long wait between reactions, haha. Pure titans are just the normal dumb ones and there is no person inside of them. The person reforms after their titan has eaten a titan shifter and becomes human again.

They for some reason don’t recognise Erwin as much when it comes to strategy when in actuality basically the entirety of the female titan arc was off of Erwin’s plans, not hange or armins. Not to mention Erwin’s plan saved eren in season 2 and then Erwin overthrew the freaking government because of his plan. The guy is the true genius of this show and it’s sad when they don’t comment on it.

I disagree, it does spoil if you look closely, some reactors have looked deeply at the scene and figured out exactly what is going to happen based off it. I doubt these guys would figure out exactly what’s going to happen based off the scene but I hope someone makes it clear that they should only watch it once if they decide to go down that route. Some reactors have regretted watching the scene once they finally put the pieces together and I just think it also gives an early spoiler about who is there considering what the characters are doing in that arc

Please don’t discredit Erwin either!!!! He didn’t make it to be the commander of the Survey Corps without making tough calls to achieve results humanity desperately needed. Of course Armin and Hange are amazing but without Erwin, the progress we see here wouldn't have happened. Let’s not forget he was the one that found Levi and got him to join the scouts. He also volunteered to take Eren under the Scouts when Eren was on trial. He always puts himself on the frontlines. His arm was literally chomped off and he still ordered the Scouts to charge and rescue Eren from Reiner and Bert. He assisted in overthrowing Reiss' government and when he was put on that trial he appointed Hange as his replacement 😮‍💨😅 He’s honestly my favorite character in the show, sorry for the ramble, just want to share that Erwin is also a master of planning ❤️ Great reaction as always!

i know people really want them to see the ep 12 after credits but i hope they take someone like my opinion into account as some of us believe that them seeing a scene shown in a future episode in ep 12 is completely pointless and may detract from the actual scene when it happens later. for Badd Medicine's benefit, the specific after credit people are talking about is showing a future scene earlier than it is actually shown. It is purely meant for shock value. I believe this scene in particular should be skipped as it doesnt truly serve any purpose other than to shock you guys when you could just watch the scene when you eventually get to it.

They are scrubbing though BECAUSE they don't want YOU spoonfeeding them which episode to watch out for. They're doing it in a first time viewer experience fashion. They will keep doing it because they usually skip the ending song.

Are you saying you didn't enjoy what Iseyama and the rest of the Wit Studio worked hard on? You want them to skip what the studio wanted to show their audience? You want to take away from Badd Medicine the full experience of AoT that they wanted? Are you ok?

on episode 12 (49). you guys need to make sure to watch the whole ED. I would recommend watching it on ep11 (48) as well, just to refresh what the actual ED looks like, and compare it.

The "after credit" scene happens in episode 12 (ep. 49) of this season. Just let the ending song play out, don't skip to it!

I would reccomend NOT scubbing through the end credits on ep 12. First the song and visuals are great, and the end credits scene maybe missed.

I'm kinda late but this is the favorite episode I've been talking about since season 1 .. 🤣 Sole reason is because the imagery of Rod Reiss crawling across that expanse is constantly on my mind for no reason at all.

It's a cool scene that adds fun speculation and so much other stuff happens so quickly that it gets pushed to the back of your mind. By the time most people remember the scene is like 10 minutes away from happening.

I don't think it is. We already heard about this when we learned about Ymir's backstory. She was wandering outside of the walls for decades before she ate an intelligent titan who happened to be Reiner and Bertholdt's companion. Eren relayed all that to Hange too.

I’ve seen a few figure it out ahead of time just from seeing the scene early and being able to guess what happens before the show gets there. I know we’re in the minority but I agree with you 100%.

The Oak absolutely vibing to the opening song is always one of the best parts of Mondays.

Since they are discussing having Erin use the hardening ability to plug the hole in Wall Maria, we can assume he permanently has that ability now.

It makes it more of an issue when everyone it talking about and they see the importance of the scene and that it depicts a future event. Now there will be not discussions of is this a true event, dream, someone’s imagination, etc.

That makes zero sense. The scene literally depicts a future event so it automatically is a spoiler. Yes they don’t have context but if the decided to look deeply at it than they might figure out what’s going on and that’s the problem.

An easy way to know is if the "To be continued" is there - if it is, then it's the end of the episode, if it's not, then there's something post-credit !
