I miss those days were we would get beautiful nuanced reviews from the Oak, like during the Harry Potter reactions. Now it's this ridiculousness about one scene. As if this is an unthinkable scenario for 2 of those brutes who are sent in with the impossible assignment of killing Aemond but also with the instruction son for a son. What is more likely: that they put their lives on the line in a face-off with Aemond? Or that they take advantage of the situation they encounter and go for the easy kill? Those guys don't have morals.

Won't say you gotta watch it cause the last season was pretty bad but given how you guys have a episode a week formula for TV shows it'd take close to 2 years to finish. Then, in a combination of Blood and Cheese being unable to find Aemond, being lazy, and wanting the money, they do the second option.

The book is meant to be like a typical history book, kinda unreliable! It was written years after the fact, and I don’t believe there’s been a confirmed date of when it was written but it was definitely after the Dance of the Dragons happened But anyways, Love all of your reactions! Can’t wait to continue watching the show with you guys 😊

He absolutely should've been guarding either Alicent's door or Aegon and Heleana's door, and he was not. It's likely they sent any other guards away to help keep their tryst under wraps. The lack of guards in that hall gives the audience the sense that the Greens have been arrogant about their presumed safety in this situation.

At the end,the rat catcher asks Daemond, "what if we cant find the prince", then it pans to daemond and he doesnt say anything but he has a very sinister,snarking look. I believe he told them to kill the boy if they could find him instead. No way those guy would be that stupid,in my opinion. They couldve easily killed Haleana the Queen,but both knew that wasnt what they were there for. I really think daemond ok'ed them killing another son if they didnt find Aemond

To add on to others' comments, @14:27 of the episode the guy says "She's not gonna give up the *king's heir* that easy." so he knew it wasn't Aemond. I'm excited to watch season 2 along with you all! Meanwhile, I'm going to have to catch up on your reactions to season 1! I hope you all eventually react to GOT bc I would love to see Answer's reactions!!

In the book Blood and Cheese knew exactly whose rooms were where, and they made Helaena choose between both of her sons. Thats all I'll say, its much much darker in the book. They left it very open to interpretation in the show as to what Daemon may or may not have said...

What stood out to me was how Lord Stark was describing how the dragons refused to fly north of The Wall, which is something that Dany's dragons in the show did but should not have been able to if they respected the source material. They've been teasing book readers by showing rats since the series began! Even at Rhaenyra's wedding to Leanor they zoom out and show a rat lapping at a puddle of blood, "blood and cheese." I think they purposefully cut Daemon's reply to Blood and Cheese in the conversation when he hired them, to not make him seem as much of a monster as he really is. Since in the book it's not exactly clear but it seems as if killing one of Aegon's children is his revenge from the get-go.

The rat guy also said, "Alright, but what if we can't find him?" When the camera panned to Daemond, he had a look on his face that implied there was a second option without even saying it out loud. But I understand how all of you feel. If I'm being honest, the book was more brutal than what they've shown us.

In the book, they actually make Helena choose between 2 sons. Its not they mistook Jaeherys for Aemond, but since they couldn't find Aemond killing the King's son is the next best way for revenge. In the book, its not depicted as a mistake. It's written as though they intentionally wanted to kill the KIng's son. But the book is also written like a fake history book with different narrators giving conflicting accounts of how they believe the dance of the dragons went down.
