Most vents are lined with Zinc, the metal Homelander can’t see through. Hence why he couldn’t laser him.

2024-06-17 14:09:55 +0000 UTCHomie's powers (super vision, smell, hearing) are not "on" all the time (that would be terrible). He has to switch (or focus) on them. He was there to have a meeting and Hughie was already in place during the scene. It's also a huge arena with rehearsals going on. Homie couldn't see through the pipes as they were galvanised (as vent ducts are, to protect from rust). He also couldn't hear Hughie as there was lots of music. (But he got close) Yes, Hughie has plot armor and they could have done a slightly better job at it but given the above, I don't think it's that far fetched.

2024-06-17 13:59:40 +0000 UTCSage is not omniscient. So, I don't think she predicted anything. I think she can make a very good calculated guess but that's all it is. It probably works out most of the time since not everyone is as big of a pyscho and unpredictable as Homie is. She seems genuinely surprised at how Homie is behaving. I don't know if I believe that she wants to takeover Vought. However, I do believe she considers humans less than her and agreed to the job so that she can test all her theories on a global scale (what Homie said to her in Ep 1). She definitely sees humans as toys and something to play with.

That was a lobotomy pick and she lobotomised herself to get high as being smart all the time probably is stressing. Hence, she slept with Deep and was watching reality TV and also wanted to watch Transformers 2.

Also, I'm not sure about Sage killing the octopus because the blood looked red instead of the blue blood that octopuses have, but hey, I might be wrong. I don't believe Sage is trying to take down Vought, and as A-train said the reason she got kicked out is because she talked too much. From what we've watched, it's still unknown what her real goal is.
