Added 2024-05-30 18:14:25 +0000 UTCIs it just us, or did the marketing fall short on this one? Gran Turismo turned out to be a delightful surprise, evoking fond memories of PlayStation days spent racing for hours. Who else spent countless hours playing Gran Turismo?
The film, inspired by a true story, follows a gamer who overcomes life's twists, turns, and his father's disapproval to chase his dream of becoming a top-tier race car driver. Central to this inspiring journey is the steadfast mentorship of Jack Salter, portrayed with remarkable conviction by David Harbour.
The cars featured are an auto enthusiast's dream, and the clever incorporation of game nostalgia into the film is brilliantly executed. The fact that it's based on true events adds an extra layer of intrigue. While it may not be a perfect film, it’s undeniably entertaining.
We definitely recommend checking out this film if you haven't seen it yet.

2024-08-13 18:45:44 +0000 UTCMy guys! I'm so excited you watched this and were as hooked as me. I've got about 300h in Gran Turismo on my PS5, but this film is so much more. The emotional punch was such a surprise. I always cry in two places: Jann's first drive after the crash + when he sees his dad at Le Mans. And Quinn, yes that's Will Buxton!!!! I always get so excited when I hear his voice, haha! The rest of y'all should definitely watch Drive to Survive. They get some things wrong, but it's still a great insight into F1 racing and so exciting.

That’s the Gemera model and it’s the first family hyper car which is why it has four doors. I really recommend checking those cars out. Some of the best out there!

2024-06-02 00:56:31 +0000 UTCAs a new gamer who bought her first PlayStation console in October 2022, the trailer had me hooked! It was so much more than the fun gamer movie I thought it would be. I actually jumped out of my seat and cried when his crash happened! This and Godzilla minus one were my favorite movies last year, and definitely two of my favorite of the last decade.

When we first got our Playstation 2, Gran Tursimo was one of our first games on the system - steering wheel and pedal included! We played tf out of that game. The police chase at the beginning of the movie reminded me of Midnight Club, too 🤣 Awesome biopic and great film! So glad we were able to see it in theaters

I was honestly blown away by this movie that it actually got me to follow more racing and learn more about it but it now makes sense why I love the Cars movie by pixar haha its my favorite film! 🤣😍 Which is why I WOULD LOVE TO WATCH YOU GUYS REACT TO THE CARS MOVIE TRILOGY!!!!!!

2024-05-31 04:24:11 +0000 UTCThis is more of a technical video comment whenever I see Oak in the reaction his face is always hidden because of the mic is there a way you guys can move the mic a little bit to the right closer to Diamond Dave has because it always hides his reaction and he always puts his hand towards his mouth I know that's just a habit but with the mic it really has his face so it's hard to see him during the reaction. If you can fix it it would be a great technical thing. Again amazing reaction can wait for you to watch more movies and have fun.

Still can't believe this is a true story. Also, Jann's actual crash is on YouTube. The movie changed the timeline for sure, but the wreck definitely wasn't exaggerated. sheesh.
