2024-06-18 11:08:51 +0000 UTC@L Jeans. i do agree with Kevin now. at the time, i was just scared because it showed the marco scene and it would stir up a big confusion but now the only reason why i changed my mind is cause 1. its a great ova. 2. it shows hitch a lil bit and i want them to see hitch more before she shows up in s3 because otherwise, they would've completely forgotten about her by then. (but now since badd mecidine liked that they didn't watch isles notebook in the intended order, they prolly wont watch the annie ova in the intended order either)

It honestly frustrate me when other AOT fans try and get new reactors to watch the anime their way instead of the way the anime directors & Isayama intend for it to be watched. The directors and Isayama know what they’re doing and set things up for a reason. There’s always those type of fans out there that think they know the story better than the people who made it & don’t even realise that their way does more damage than good. They ruin new timers experience without realising it till it’s too late. I’ve seen it time and time again how people regret not watching the OVA when they were supposed to. It’s like a lot of people say, so many little things & details are important in AOT

You’re supposed to experience AOT in the order they release the episodes & OVA. I’m still annoyed people told them to watch Ilse notebook after season 2 when you’re supposed to watch it before season 2

If this sounds familiar its because its what the scouts (especially Erwin) are saying. So the "souls" you see from all the different beings in the opening are meant to show their hearts.

And now it’s repeating. It’s pretty simple, follow the release order of the show. If you don’t know the release order, don’t be posting telling reactors to skip episodes. There will be no end to their confusion if everyone and their mother posts their own personal fanmade order they want reactors to watch the show in. Episode order shouldn’t be an opinion. It’s a literal fact, just like any other episodes in any other show, or chapters in any book.

Marco’s death was one of the main reasons Jean decided to join the Scouts and not the Military Police, which also lead to the other characters joining the Scouts.

OVA’s between S2 and S3: - OVA 6: Lost Girls: Wall Sina, Goodbye Part 1 - OVA 7: Lost Girls: Wall Sina, Goodbye Part 2 This is a 2-parter OVA focusing purely on Annie, just like the Levi OVA’s. In these 2 episodes you get a much deeper look into Annie’s personal thoughts, feelings, and relation with her father as you follow her around on the day before the Female Titan arc happens in Season 1. This serves as a much more in-depth character analysis of Annie than the main show provides. It is technically optional because there is nothing huge related to the main plot line in these. However, I personally really enjoy the episodes, and find getting a look inside Annie’s mind fascinating. I hope this helps! I know I’d love to see them, and I think you guys would appreciate getting some answers on Annie, but I know you have to balance the fact that it would push Season 3 back a week, making the more impatient AoT fans angry, so you’ve got to balance that as well and decide what’s best. (I may post this again next week just for visibility / a reminder) P.s. there are people in the comments already trying to put their own personal opinion over the authors and switch the order of episodes again. The official release order is and always has been between S2 and S3, and is when the vast majority of reactors and AoT fans watch them. If you were reading a book and a random person said to skip a chapter and read it at a later time, they’d be called a lunatic. The only other time to watch them is after S3, when they no longer make any sense to watch from a story or world building perspective.

Stop trying to influence them with your own personal opinions about when information “should” be revealed. Sigh. This is the Ilse’s Notebook situation all over again. The author determines the order episodes should be watched, not a random stranger on the internet. The VAST majority of reactors watch Annie’s OVA’s after Season 2, as it’s meant to be.

He was also shown before his death but most people don't remember him. He had a very big impact on Jean's character development. He told Jean that he was a good leader and if it weren't for Marcos death, Jean wouldn't have joined the Survey Corp (NOW THIS BIT MENTIONS SPOILERS: for those in the comments who might be wondering why I'm mentioning this. since these guys don't remember much, I don't want them to be confused by that one Marco scene in season 3. I've seen reactors who don't remember Marco, see that scene, and be like "Umm who is this. wtf, why is this relevant" and I just don't want these guys to do the same thing. but they'll probably forget anyway) Anyways I’ll delete this if the first bit is spoiling

Reiner just happened to start believing the lies he was telling. They committed mass redrum when they were Erens age which I think they were 12 since they are all around the same age. Imagine what that does to your mind. But lets also be real Eren is a teen too his outburst are typical of teenagers. Armin's just mature for his age. I love the journey this show takes you through this season with their mental state.
