You do get the occasional weirdos on here, there was this one time where some guy was complaining about how he could not bear to see pdfs / assaulters getting injured or deleted in a directors movie and the amount of likes that comment had was astonishing... since than i avoid the comments here mostly.

(the movie is based on a book btw) also, Emma produced this. She wanted to tell this story. And as a woman I'm so glad she did because it resonated with me much more than say, Barbie. though Barbie was ok.

I'm a woman and I absolutely loved this film. Saw it in theaters because I love the directors other work. It's easily my favorite movie of the year and my favorite of his. My second favorite by him is called The Favorite and it also has Emma Stone. Amazing costumes, sets, acting, cinematography, music, dialogue, color pallette, etc. just amazing. it's ok if you didn't like it. it's art. it's subjective. ✌️

I would say the comments on the other videos are very positive which you will see if you take a look. But if not and you deem that it doesn't fit you, we understand 🤙

We could all have a very long conversation about the topics in this movie, not my point in this comment but I agree with Mason and Diamond Dave, a movie can have great work behind it but not be a movie one can enjoy. Thanks for all the hard work you guys put into every reaction and for being honest

People have differing opinions and that offends you so much that you put up an mindless response that has no substance at all and you think you made some kind of point? Okay.

So, after reading some of the comments, I think part of the divisiveness likely comes from people not knowing this director or having experience with his previous work. He makes movies that are mostly absurdist, over the top in certain ways. I enjoyed this movie because I’m familiar with his style. If you’re not, I imagine it would be like going to see the SouthPark movie expecting a Disney story because it’s a cartoon.
I should also add that I’m new to this Patreon community and find the comment someone made regarding one of the presenters children to be very inappropriate. Is this something that happens here regularly? If so, it’s not for me.

"The most disgusting, degrading movie ever" uhhh, sure (tries to hide A Serbian Film, Irreversible, and the entire genre of "women in prison" exploitation films behind my back 😂)

Rating: Minus 50. This is the most disgusting, degrading movie ever.
Hollywood tries to tell women for years there is something "liberating" about screwing around with as many penises as possible. No matter how ugly the guy - it's ALL liberating /sarcasm off.
It's a justification for all men that visit brothels "yeah she ACTUALLY likes it" 🤤 when in fact women are mostly forced into prostitution and get damaged for life.
I can't eat as much as I want to vomit. 🤮
I was also surprised the Oak liked it. Imagine your little son was a girl and grew up with a message like this.
