I do love when English speaking people gatekeep the Japanese language, even though most have no idea how to speak it or understand it. Now the point about sub for reactors is they do miss a lot of things. I’ve noticed that. Unless you just watch and don’t talk during it. I like sub but the ppl who always say the dub is trash is crazy. The dub voices are getting really good. There are some great voices out there. So if you love sub don’t pester people to watch it how you want to and vice versa. Just let people enjoy what they like

2024-04-07 11:06:14 +0000 UTCBecause most of the time the difference in quality doesnt outwiegh the cost of having to read subtitles and miss whats going on. For reactors especially looking down to write something is very risky with subs. Not to mention its just easier to remember characters and their personality when they speak your language. Ive watched more subbed than dubbed and i appreciate both for what they are but dubbed is just an overall better experience most of the time in mainstream shows like this.
