2024-04-02 17:40:18 +0000 UTCPersonally, I see Ender's story ending after the second book - things became too philosophical for me to keep up with as a kid. But then I found the Ender's Shadow series and instantly love it soooo much more. Bean is truly a marvel of a character.

2024-04-02 14:44:20 +0000 UTCin the books (which was very integral to my childhood) ender is indeed remembered as a genocidal killer, he himself is cognisant of this, as he continues to travel to different planets for the last queen, and lives millenia past his birth through interstellar travel. Rewatching this, I'm really not sure how else they could have adapted the first book, in the sense that the movie isn't bad, but there's many thing they didn't convey. There were talk of a TV adaption, but unless they had TLOU level passion and budget, I really don't see how they could adapt the next books.
