2024-03-28 16:42:19 +0000 UTCYeah I'm a bit of a nerd about the dragons specifically Blacks - Syrax (Rhaenyra) - Caraxes (Daemon) - Vermax (Jace) - Arrax (Luke) - RIP - Meleys (Rhaenys) - Moondancer (Baela) - Tyraxes (Joffrey) Greens - Vhagar (Aemond) - Dreamfyre (Helaena) - Sunfyre (Aegon II) - Tessarion (Daeron) - Alicent's youngest son but not sure if he'll be in the show Riderless (no allegiance) - Vermithor - Silverwing - Seasmoke Wild (dragons that have never had a rider and live on Dragonstone) - Grey Ghost - The Cannibal - Sheepstealer There's some other dragons mentioned in the book, but at this point I'm pretty sure they haven't hatched yet or are very young.

2024-03-28 16:00:58 +0000 UTCDaemon went to sing to Vermithor who has been living in the Dragonmont (the volcano on Dragonstone) with Silverwing, his mate, since the old king Jaehaerys died. He's been riderless so Daemon was keeping him socialized so it would be easier to find another rider when the time comes. He's the second largest dragon during this time, behind Aemond's Vhagar. The white dragon they showed is Seasmoke, Laenor's dragon we saw him use in battle during season 1. He just hasn't been seen in a while since Laenor literally jumped ship lol The dragon with stripes we see a top down shot of where it looks white is actually the same pale green dragon, Moondancer, we see Baela riding. Her dragon was only mentioned but not seen last season. They showed a side shot of Sunfyre in the green trailer at around 50 seconds. We know that's Sunfyre because it matches the one close shot of him they had in season 1 during the funeral for Laena in episode 7. /nerd rant lol

2024-03-22 11:28:59 +0000 UTCAre you going to react to Game of Thrones at some point? House of the Dragon was BORING and BAD in comparison. I'm a huge GOT fan, but HOTD was really really hard to watch because it had boring characters, mediocre acting, bad props (Rhaenyras crown looked like a cheap plastic toy), no character arcs, shitty looking dragon design and no interesting plot line whatsoever. I never felt sympathetic to any of the characters, but especially hated Rhaenyras character although I looked forward to her the most. Also Alicent was a cheap replacement for Cersei 🙄 Ugh, it was awful. The only thing I liked about it was that there was more dialogue in High Valyrian but that was about it. I know people say it was only the prologue, but I doubt that the second season is going to be significantly better.

I’ve mostly seeing the whole “trailer for the trailer” concept with youtube ads, just to quickly grab someone’s attention in hopes they will watch the whole trailer before skipping. Its really annoying imo. Season 1 of HoTD was mostly a prologue for the real story, “The Dance of the Dragons” aka this Targaryen civil war. It was tasked with introducing the characters and explaining the events (which take place through a prolonged time range and hence the time jumps) that lead to the conflict. Now that everything is set up, we will see fewer time jumps as far as I know (not a book reader). Really like Aegon’s helmet, it has a crown embedded on it. The costume design department is killing it.

2024-03-22 04:43:26 +0000 UTCRe: The Greens trailer, the guy (I think it's just a young long-haired guy, not a woman) wearing the yellow tunic with the red horse stamped on the front + brown cloak is someone representing House Bracken (he's dressed in House Bracken's colors and wearing their sigil). House Bracken is one of the powerful houses in the Riverlands. Based on the history of Westeros, I'm 98.5% sure that the other guys represent House Blackwood (main colors are red and black, another powerful house from the Riverlands), because the Blackwoods and Brackens are ALWAYS beefing. Their feud was actually featured briefly in season 1 - in episode 4, in the scene in which Rhaenyra is "interviewing" potential suitors, a Bracken guy tries to clown the Blackwood boy, they start dueling as Rhaenyra leaves, and Blackwood ends up gutting Bracken lol
