And it illustrated the myths with these gorgeous paintings - famous ones that didn't necessarily actually depict the myth, but artistically fit it. The one for Procrustes was a bed in an insane asylum. Fit so beautifully for the monster who would chop too tall people up so they'd fit the bed, or stretch short people on a rack to make them fit. :) Have tried SO hard to find that series again... SIGH

They were first used with the original Levi's "waist overalls" jeans in 1890. People don't use pocket watches anymore, but the pockets are still around.

They're pretty well done and very entertaining. As a Percy Jackson adaptation, they're terrible. I think that's where the major divide may be.

You guys are certainly correct that he is discovering his strength along the way
