The episode is riveting, thrilling, and captivating. Having learned some important details about Annabeth’s past, we can now empathize with her plight. In addition, Grover and the Satyrs’ quest to find Pan, the deity of nature, is brought to light.
The mother monster and her terrifying pet are introduced in this episode, which adds to the unsettling but entertaining plotline. The episode is even more thrilling since Poseidon steps in at the last minute.

I'm so glad you guys are having fun, even if it is just a short lighthearted moment to enjoy a family-friendly adventure story with some lessons and themes weaved expertly into where you barely even realize the importance of what is being told to you until it all comes together. As always, can't wait for the rest, and thank you! (Also, just in case no one really answered the dream question: they ARE dreams that Percy is having while he sleeps. In this series, it is not uncommon for demigods to have nearly prophetic-like dreams. And in addition to that, it does mean that the powerful beings of this mythological world do have the ability to reach into dreams/minds to contact demigods, seeing as they are literally gods and more lol. But I won't say anything else for the sake of spoilers. )

I definitely think they’ll change it for season 2 and make them longer, because that’s been a common criticism. I also really do wanna see your pov on the movie after you finish this show, so yall can see how bad they wronged us lol.

As Chiron also mentioned how physical laws of human world don't obey the laws of their world (for example how a big chimera was in that little carrier). Humans also can kinda see and feel the impact of the accidents but not the cause. The Mist twists a mortal's sight from seeing any supernatural occurrences by replacing them with things that mortal mind knows about and can comprehend. The Mist not only distorts vision, but also creates false memories and suppresses real ones. Demigods usually have dreams(at this point mostly nightmares) or visions that have a meaning. They often have dreams of importance, indicating a message from someone else or what may happen in the future. It's really fascinating how much u can see the growth of the characters already and even crazier how much u can see it by ep8. The 2nd half of the season gonna be an interesting wild ride. Can't wait for you all to witness that.

Fun fact when Percy was "sick" Walker was only wearing a little bit of red under his eyes no other make-up he just naturally that pale. I'm also very excited for next week episode because It's one of my favorites.

What's really cool about this episode is that in the book, Rick made a mistake on how the St. Louis Arch was structured because he thought that the water was right below it. So when Percy was fighting the chimera, he purposely jumped into the water in order to protect the people around them. Obviously, the arch is much higher than he originally thought, so Rick had to make certain changes to fit that scene and it was so creative of him to have Percy fall because of his weakened state and have Poseidon save him.
