This has nothing to do with race, it's the ease of translation. Movies/tv/anime have dubs in mutliple languages for this reason.

And I went from being upset at his death to super hopeful in the previous episode, even if he remained a titan. I never got far enough in the show for any explanation on this/titans in general. So I wonder if all of them have people inside them, and/or if this is how it started. Some weird experiment that got out of control 100 years ago? I can't wait until we eventually get to the explanations! Could you imagine if Mikasa is able to control a titan? She'd probably wipe all of them out in like a day and a half max! Someone give her a titan.

Also, it wasn't a finger tip it was a pomegranate, which is historically a symbol of rebirth (among other things) in different cultures. > Mikasa is wondering 'why do I keep standing up, why do I keep fighting', etc., while staring at the pomegranate, and realizes she has to fight to keep her memories of him alive. The pomegranate symbolizes that the thing that she's holding on to, what she fights for (Eren) is reborn, as she put it, as the embodiment of humanity's rage.

If you listen carefully you can actually hear Eren's voice used for its screams and breathing.

No, we are the hunters!". And Eren's last name is Jäger (Hunter) that word is very clear to understand :)

They're watching as their friends get eaten by 4-5 story tall creatures and the last time they lost, 20% of the population got sacrificed. That's a lot of pressure for 15 year olds so some freezing up is a bit understandable lol. Otherwise absolutely loving the reactions, you guys are doing a great job.

You will have so many questions, and when one is finally answered it will create even more questions. The painful wait for what comes next does not get any easier". 21:47 was my exact reaction for each of "those" scenes throughout this arc lmao First time watching this journey is incredible, but rewatching and catching all the scenes/lines with double meaning gives you even more appreciation for the story. Its amazing how many small hinting details they put throughout the show.
