2024-02-02 16:09:00 +0000 UTCYes! I bought the book after seeing the movie, sooo good! I've never read Silver Linings Playbook but I did see the movie. I need to rewatch it again though, it didn't stick with me quite as much and I bet I'd appreciate it more now.

La La Land was nominated for Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress (won), Best Director, Best Screenplay and others. So by mainstream standards, wouldn’t that make it the most popular movie on this particular list? Or perhaps there are those who don’t even know it was nominated at all, thus, subjective. As they said in the lead, all the movies listed are on their list and will be watched at some point. Don’t sweat it!

The book is one of my favorite of all time, and with Perks of Being a Wallflower a seriously good adaptation of its original material (at least in my opinion). Those 2 movies are some of my favorite because of how brilliantly it deals with difficult subjects. Honestly recommand you watch those, can't wait to see your reactions to it ☺️🤗

2024-01-17 19:45:44 +0000 UTCCan you try with your polls to not include an extremely popular movie like Mean Girls, for some reason people liked this movie, I personally don't know why, but it really doesn't give any other movies a chance. Can you just say you'll add Mean Girls to watch at some point and then reupload with the other movies. Silver Lining and No hard Feelings are brilliant movies, SLPB has so much depth, hits you right in the feels and had a beautiful important message regarding Mental Health. No Hard Feelings is freaking hilarious, like cry from laughter funny. Mean Girls thinks it's sending a message but it's a message that we already have heard long before the movie, we learned through common sense and just know it by flat out being a good person so it's left with being very superficial and the jokes do not age well.
