I would say the choice is up to you, I'll watch either way. I never bothered with his "director's cut" of anything to know if it's worth the wait or not. Most of his stuff wasn't worth watching the first go round much less made me want to watch it a second time.

The exact same timeframe that he did for BvS, Watchmen, and JL, reviews come out, and he says his version is better. Rather than make a good version of a story, he’s more interested in controlling the narrative that he is a deep visionary who can’t help but get screwed over by studios? He’s a hack, in other words

The director's cut is not some after thought they suddenly came up with or just additional scenes tacked on to add an hour extra. The narrative of both cuts are completely different. Also Netflix wanted two different versions because 2 hour movies do better on their platform and they can double dip to get more views for the same amount of money.

Its just an excuse to justify a bad movie the same crap is with Napolean. Make a good movie the first time its that simple.

And I really don’t think adding more onto it and changing the editing is gonna fix it, just like his last 2 director cuts. TBH, as someone who believed in the release the Snyder cut movement when it started, the fact is that that time, he got screwed over. This time it was his choice to have a pg-13 edit, and then specifically put SA in his directors cut. He’s a hack…. I’m sorry but you guys just watched Oppenheimer, that’s a movie that introduces 15+ characters, jumps time to time, and has amazing VFX. Nothing, NOTHING, Snyder has ever made in the last decade even qualifies as a narrative, it’s all so messy and so “edgy”, he constantly puts SA and abuse in his films because “that’s what bad guys do” rather than writing an interesting villian, his solution is to just make them rapists…. If you skip this movie, it can be summed up as “it starts, it goes on, then they do the same scene 6 times, then the movie ends and there’s a guy with tubes screaming at you”
