Damn being away for two weeks and coming back to the news you all are starting a gaming channel is awesome 🥲. Highly recommend Witcher 3 + both DLCs for high quality RPG gameplay. I’ve watched a ton of Witcher 3 playthrough on other channels and that game alone tends to attract a decent amount of gaming folk. No super real need to play the previous two games either and it’ll be a good intro for when Witcher 4 comes out which will start a new saga. I think you guys would really enjoy but I’m down to watch anything to support you guys

I also think it would be SUPER awesome to have more voting with movies. So Patrons could sometimes vote for the next movie/series that gets watched. I think Patrons love when they have a little more involvement about upcoming content. Especially if they don't watch every show or movie you have reactions coming out for. Then they're sort of just waiting week after week for a movie or 2 that they like. So sometimes letting Patrons vote for a movie you're about to watch keeps them more engaged. :) And also I think it would be fun to occasionally offer a temporary tier or draw a random name from Patrons where they choose a next movie (standalone) to watch and that movie gets bumped to the top of the list. I've seen alot of other Patreons offer this. I even saw some music reaction channels that have a payment option outside of Patreon, where it's a one-time payment and they react to your choice immediately. But more so first come first serve basis and only for an alotted time or day of the week etc. As you obviously can't just react to what people choose every day all of the time. 😆 But I thought it would be helpful to share that because maybe you guys could come up with your own version of that. To occasionally allow a patron or 2 to choose a movie to be bumped to the front of your list to watch. A random lotto or whatever.

I personally love gaming. And although I used to play more than I do currently, I still love game play. So I'd love to be able to occasionally subscribe to the game play as well. Something that I wouldn't always stay subbed to but would most likely sub to when you start a game I like or a game I'm interested in. So it would be something I go back and forth with. Whereas movies/TV I am always subbed to. If that makes sense? Lol I don't play games quite as much as I used to (I'd like to start up again sometime) so that's why I most likely wouldn't stay subbed to the gaming content every month. But I definitely think it's amazing and I am waiting to start my Harry Potter playthrough and then start watching Oak's playthrough! I've been really excited for this game! Really happy you guys are adding on gaming to your content. And if I ever had one game to request it would be without a doubt SKYRIM. (Elder Scrolls games in general but the further back you go, the less the graphics.. which the games totally still hold up but it's definitely a big change-up and adjustment. Lol) But Skyrim is the newest game in that series. It's been out quite awhile now and it still is such a big game in the gaming community. If you ever play, make sure you get all of the official add ons! There are 3 and they are Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire. They really add to the gameplay.

I'm open to whatever you guys decide with the tiers. I honestly think the best option would be to keep the tiers you have (even if you adjust them in whatever small ways needed) but create new tiers as well. So have a movie/TV tier, movie/tv+gaming tier, gaming tier, etc. So a multitude of tier options. I think that would work best and everyone can choose what they want. I understand some people want to pay one price for ALL content, and I can understand where they're coming from. But when we joined this Patreon we joined for movies/TV. That's all there was and that's all you did. If you add new content alongside the content you already provide, that's more work and time and energy from you guys and so I think that deserves new tiers. This avoids you guys having to make the tiers higher priced because all content is included, and it helps you to avoid not getting compensated enough for your work and time by offering additional content at no extra cost. Your Patreon sub prices are very affordable as they are now and even if you had to increase each tier to another $1 or so (what with everything going up) even that is totally understandable. So your prices are great imo and I think the best option is to keep a good variety of subscription options available to your Patrons and so having that variety would work best because everyone has different levels they can afford/are comfortable with.

I hope y'all play some classic horror games— namely 'Outlast'! It was one of the original viral horror games on youtube in the early 2010s and boosted a lot of gaming channels. It's one-player but you guys could play as a group and trade off maybe? Sometimes I get together with some friends and beers and we set a timer to trade off every 10 minutes (because it's too scary to play for longer than that 😂). It makes for a fun night of laughs and screams. Horror game playthroughs are always the funnest to watch, so i'm looking forward to those!

I like the idea, I personally wouldn’t pay more than what I’m currently paying right now though. Maybe increasing the current tier by $1/month, and making the full access tier the “max” tier, then the other tiers with just reactions or just gaming $1-2/month less.

I think an extra tier for all the content (including the gaming) is totally fair. There are so many amazing story games to play. A few that come to mind right away are the Telltale Games (Walking Dead, Game of Thrones), heavy on the decision making and great stories, Until Dawn, 12 Minutes, etc. Excited to see what's to come!

Sure, and id love to see the gaming as well, and i know you guys need to get your bag, it makes sense. But it would be nice if the current max tier included gaming and movies/tv, and you create 2 lower teirs that are just gaming and just movies/tv. Like i said, if I'm already on the "max" tier, and all of a sudden there is a new higher tier I need to pay for, ill just cancel altogether and not pay anything at all. Just my 2 cents. Love your work, boys.

Understandable 🤙 Some people don't want the gaming content and getting all those alerts. And some new people who join will only want gaming content. Having the multiple tiers will help with that issue. Which is why we would keep this tier as is, add a tier for just gaming, and add a tier for those who want gaming and reactions.

I will personally not pay extra, and honestly, if there is content that i've been gated out of just because i wont pay more, i feel like i would cancel my subscription entirely and just go back to youtube for free. Its the same thing as every major streaming service adding new pricing and tiers and stuff. Ive cancelled them all already.

I think another tier for the gaming channel is a good idea. gaming livestreams are always a lot of fun so i hope that gets incorporated. i think the style of video you put out for hogwarts legacy works well. i like the idea of having a roadmap of sorts like you have for the main channel for the gaming so we have an idea of whats coming up (in addition to polls). but also yall should just do what feels right, this channel is great bc of how genuine yall are. keep up the good work

As long as it is a reasonable price jump for the gaming and movie tier combined, I'm game! I love watching game plays and if you all do horror/thriller games, I definitely want to see The Oak's reaction! Like others said, definitely don't hold back with the cursing, roasting, etc. when gaming. I don't think there is any game that doesn't cause stress at some point.

I feel like u could have the gaming Patreon be obvious stuff like early reaction, possibly longer style, etc. I feel like it could also do well with having the member vote for what comes next etc like u do with movies. A channel I’d recommend checking out is tmartn2. He’s been in the space a long time and he does a blend of kinda long videos while also cutting out some stuff that seems necessary. I feel like his style would best suit u guys getting into gaming and learning how to do stuff. I’d also recommend testing out the way audio from the game and from which one of you is playing. Watching a bit of oak playing legacy and the audio doesn’t feel balanced in a way. It feels like oak could sometimes be talking over things since his voice comes through more louder than the game. Other than that I think you seem to be headed in the right way with this and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Honestly ya'll had a great debut for the gaming channel in my opinion. I think long form videos like the one ya'll posted are great. I also think you should definitely not shy away from engaging in roasting and just being honest when you're gaming. We've alllll been there when the game is just kicking our butt and we get mroe and more frustrated and want to start breaking things. That's what makes the victory more satisfying. It was awesome watching Oak essentially learn how to play since Legacy is very much not in his normal wheelhouse of gaming. Some great games you guys might like to play as a group are games from Supermassive. They make a bunch of "choose your own adventure" style horror games. Until Dawn is a classic example. It'd be really really fun watching the whole crew engage in what is essentially an interactive movie. I also think as far as numbers and statistics and such, board gaming is definitely popular these days too and I think people would enjoy watching you guys play board games too. There's a game on PC you can buy called Tabletop Simulator that you can use to play thousands of different board games digitally. It would give you a great chance to try them out for free, minus the cost of Tabletop Simulator, and if you like the games enough you can purchase a physical copy and play in person if you desire to. Some board games I'd recommend that are good for beginners while still being really fun are Dead of Winter and Betrayal at House on the Hill.

I think a Discord would be a great way for you guys to connect with your large variety of an audience & also create opportunities for great discussions, collaboration in some capacity & potential for casual watch parties, game nights, etc. There are quite a few out there that have a very good organization to them and it could be a really cool way to expand and grow your outreach 👌🏻

Having watched a lot of gameplay channels, a lot of popular ones tend not to edit down their videos unless there's a snafu. Of course that would involve stuff like technical issues and stuff like that but also things like getting stuck in a certain part for levels, especially if it takes up a sizable part of a video

Glock9 has a Patreon but it’s mainly just for optional support because he has colorful language. Buuut I think it would be dope to do gaming with subs or something along those lines on games that could feature servers or realms etc. whether. Also, Normies & Blind Wave do tons of gaming content as well & have a great format for having multiple people in the group play at the same time! Rooster Teeth also does great work with gaming as a group 😁
